How a shift works
- Choose a job in the Job Center (F5 or the NPC). You see the requirements, the pay and the earnings per hour.
- Start the shift at that job's NPC: eye › Start / end shift. Jobs with work clothes put you in uniform right away; after the shift you wear your own clothes again.
- Choose your vehicle. A company vehicle costs a 10% deposit of its value. With your own vehicle of the right kind you pay no deposit and earn 25% more.
- You get papers in your inventory (address list, delivery notes, trip log …).
- Do the steps: pick up, load, drive, deliver. The server checks position, order and travel time: teleporting or going impossibly fast does not count.
- Hand in your papers at the depot. Only then the whole shift is paid and you get your deposit back (minus damage to the rented vehicle).
Disconnected? A shift survives a disconnect. You can resume it for a while: from 1 hour (warehouse) up to 48 hours (newspaper, truck).
Changed your mind? Cancel within 2 minutes without delivering anything and it does not cost you rating.
